Cameron Angeli - “Into the Belly of the Beast"

Into the Belly of the Beast is a collection of three live mixes that span the events of a typical Saturday in my life. I think you’ll find the mixes, like my words below, mirror many of the experiences you’ve had with music.

The day begins @ the Pool - a place where it seems most appropriate to relax to airy, deep and uplifting tech and house rhythms. As the sun goes down, the energy builds eluding to the evening ahead. Once we arrive @ the Party, it’s time to do just that: Party. Dirty tech and electro beats accompanied by funky vocals seem like the perfect way accomplish this task. A remix from a track we heard @ the Pool reminds us of what fun we had in the sun. The progressive elements drive us late into the night and just like the sky outside, the music gets darker. On the ride home, we replay the amazing tracks we heard in our heads. @ the House, elements from the night remain as we try to relive our day. The few people that remain awake get to enjoy the late night/early morning melodic dark tech session as it unfolds in their ears. And finally, as the sun rises, we are left with that last track - one to accompany our dreams as we sleep through to Sunday afternoon.
